On March 3-4, Scripss held its ninth conference on "The Future of Genomic Medicine." I didn't have a chance to attend, but to keep up with the Scripps view of cutting-edge trends this spring, see the conference brochure online
here, or archived in the cloud
here. Some pre-press appeared on Medscape a week earlier (

The agenda was a who's who of prominent speakers to long too summarize, but a few high visibility names would include Patrick Soon-Shiong (NantHealth), George Church and Robert Green (Harvard), Anne Wojcicki (23andMe), and
Elizabeth Holmes (Theranos). Ron Winslow of the Wall Street Journal moderated a closing session titled, "Hope and Hype."
In late breaking news, Holmes withdrew from speaking; see Medscape here.
